Thousands of students walked out of lecture halls and classrooms this morning in protest against the combined accommodation crisis and cost of college which are affecting students all across the country.
The demonstration was part of a national walkout organised by the Union of Students in Ireland (USI). Trinity News spoke to union representatives, students, and politicians who gathered to demand action from government and College.
